Be Lil John On "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas"

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" is the first "GTA" game to allow players almost complete customization of the game's protagonist. As with other games, CJ's clothes can be changed, but players can also change his hairstyle, facial hair, tattoos and even change his body type through exercise. Unfortunately, the designers did not include an option for dreadlocks, making it difficult for players that want to make CJ look like the rapper Lil Jon. However,a specific mod for PC players has been created to accomplish this.

Instructions

1. Make a backup copy of "San Andreas" just in case something goes wrong with the mod files.

2. Download either the "GTA IMG Tool" or the "San Andreas Mod Installer." Next, download the "Lil Jon Mod." (See References.) IMG Tool requires a manual install while the Mod Installer uses an automatic install.

3. Locate the downloaded Lil Jon mod (a ZIP file) using the IMG Tool, and extract the two files from it. Enter the IMG tool, search for the DFF and TXD files for the "Madd Dogg" skin and delete both of them. Enter the "Models" file within the GTA game folder. Add the two files for the Lil Jon skin to the "Models" folder.

4. Install the program using the using the San Andreas Mod Installer. Open it, then click on "Install a mod" and select the Mod Installer from the GTA game folder. On the second option, choose the Lil Jon mod, which should be a ZIP file. Click "Continue" out of the readme file. Locate the DFF file within the ZIP file and type in the name of the file to replace the existing file using that name. Install the mod.
