The Arat Crystals in "Mabinogi" are rare items used in the synthesis process. Life Drain Crystals are some of the most useful items that can be synthesized using Arat Crystals. Arat Crystals can be found during Shadow Missions, both as dropped items from defeated enemies and within treasure chests in the Shadow Missions. Completing a Shadow Mission can result in multiple Arat Crystals, but the number of Arat Crystals acquired in each run through of a Shadow Mission will vary from mission to mission, even when performing the same missions multiple times.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the Shadow Realm and go to the Shadow Mission Board in the town of Taillteann or Tara. The Shadow Mission boards are near the town headquarters in each town.
2. Click on the Shadow Mission board to view the open missions. Clicking on missions will allow you to see the mission's description, location, objectives and rewards.
3. Click on a mission that you believe your current party will be able to complete and accept the mission.
4. Travel to a Shadow Realm's Gate and click on the altar to begin your selected mission. The Shadow Realm's Gates can be found in Taillteann, Tara or Tara Rath Castle, and are identified by the altar surrounded by square columns.
5. Click on the Altar to begin your Shadow Mission. Defeat as many enemies as possible and be on the lookout for treasure chests to ensure that you receive as many Arat Crystals as possible during the mission.
