Famous Tourism Places In Arizona

Arizona foliage.

Arizona is known for spectacular sunsets and cacti. Whether you want to take a drive through Red Rock country or see Arizona's natural wonder the Grand Canyon, you will have plenty to do while visiting the state. Just remember to carry plenty of water, as the temperatures can reach over 100 degrees during the summer months.

Gates Pass

Gates Pass is just west of Tucson. There are plenty of photo opportunities along the drive, including public spots where you can pull off the road and take photos. Take caution when driving this road. It is a two-lane drive and often a winding road. The best time to take photos is at sunset. You will want to come out at least one hour prior to sunset. This will provide you with ample time to find a parking spot, as many people will get here to watch the sunset over Gates Pass.
