Doc Mitchell gives you his old Pip-Boy 3000A computer at the start of "Fallout: New Vegas." Your Pip-Boy keeps track of your location, quests, inventory and more and is essential for traveling the wastes. Later in the game, you can complete a side quest to replace your Pip-Boy with a gold-plated version called the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion. The Pimp-Boy 3 Billion is functionally identical to your original Pip-Boy 3000A.
Instructions
1. Travel to Freeside, and enter Mick and Ralph's shop. Ask Mick how his business is doing, and then ask about his deal with the Omertas.
2. Enter the Gomorrah casino on the Strip, and complete the "How Little We Know" quest. You will be able to obtain the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion no matter how you complete the quest.
3. Talk to Cachino, if you sided with him during "How Little We Know" and Big Sal is still alive, to find out about Troike's troubles. Examine the body of the prostitute in Troike's hotel room, question Troike about his encounter with the prostitute and then talk to Big Sal and pay him to release Troike from his contract.
4. Talk to Big Sal, if he is still alive, and tell him to start buying weapons from Mick again.
5. Return to Mick and Ralph's store, and talk to Mick. If you killed Big Sal or convinced him to resume his business with Mick, Mick will give you the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion as a reward.
