Build A Backstop For Bb Guns

Safely using your BB gun by building a backstop.

Shooting a BB gun can be a cheap and fun pastime when done in a safe environment. Building your own backstop is an easy way to be able to shoot your gun in a controlled environment, while keeping everyone's safety in mind. The process of building a backstop for your BB gun will take about 20 minutes from start to finish. You can spend up to $100 on purchasing one, but building it yourself will take up less time and money.

Instructions

1. Take the newspaper and separate it into single sheets. Crumple the newspaper sheets and throw them into the cardboard box. Pack it semi-tightly and fill it to the top.

2. Cut the flaps off the top with the box cutter. This removes them from your shooting view.

3. Spray-paint a target onto the front of the box. Start with a big circle and then fill it with smaller circles until you reach the bulls-eye middle target. Once the target becomes too weathered and shot up, you can just spin the box and re-paint a different side.
