Four hotels in the greater Clearlake area have jetted tubs.
Clearlake is a town situated in Northern California along the shores of the southeastern tip of Clear Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in the state. Fishing, boating and hiking opportunities abound in this area along with vineyards and wineries. Though there is a good selection of lodging in and around Clearlake, to find a hotel with a jetted tub in your room, you will have to drive a short distance from town.
Clear Lake Bed and Breakfast
The Clear Lake Bed and Breakfast hotel is situated on the western side of Clear Lake. It is approximately 25 miles away from the town of Clearlake in the town of Lakeport. All guest rooms boast inside Jacuzzi tubs and some also sport outside personal hot tubs. The building is designed on the model of early American plantation homes.
The hotel has its own private beach on Clear Lake. The property includes trees, flower gardens and grassy lawns. Guests receive a free breakfast in the hotel that has a common room overlooking the lake. The breakfast is cooked to order as requested by guests the previous night. Fishing is available from its dock and pier. Guests can also rent a boat.
Lakeport English Inn
The Lakeport English Inn in Lakeport includes lodging called royal king and queen Jacuzzi rooms. Each one comes with a Jacuzzi for two, antiques and a view of either Clear Lake or a garden on the property. The rooms also have private bathrooms with showers.
Special events include a Victorian Christmas Fair and High Tea in which groups and the public are welcome during late November until the week before Christmas. Additional features include an on-site pub, roses and cookies upon arrival, luxury bath products and breakfast. The staff also helps arrange massages for guests at a nearby spa.
Featherbed Railroad Bed and Breakfast Resort
The Featherbed Railroad Bed and Breakfast Resort is situated in the town of Nice, which is located on the eastern shore of Clear Lake and is 22 miles north of the town of Clearlake. Each of the units is located in an individual caboose situated in forested land along Clear Lake.
An example is the Rosebud Caboose Suite that comes with a Jacuzzi tub for two. Amenities include breakfast in the dining room of the 100-year-old main house, free popcorn and a ping pong table. The property also has a swimming pool, boat dock and boat launch on Clear Lake. Guests can take advantage of a private beach.
Super 8 Upper Lake
Situated 27 miles northwest of Clearlake, the Super 8 Upper Lake hotel has rooms that come with whirlpools. These suites also have micro fridges. Hotel highlights include a free daily breakfast, an outdoor swimming pool and a whirlpool for general use.
Additional features include a picnic area where guests can barbecue, boat parking with electric plug-ins and a guest laundry facility. Plenty of recreational opportunities are available at the Mendocino National Forest, which is two miles northeast of town. The Super 8 is also approximately four miles from the northern tip of Clear Lake.
