Clean White Plastic Garden Furniture

White plastic garden furniture should be cleaned at least once a season.

White plastic garden furniture is meant to survive the harshness of the outdoors. Because they are outside, the furniture pieces will get dirty due to precipitation, pollution, and people using the furniture during the warm months. Your white plastic garden furniture should be cleaned, at the very least, before putting it away for the winter. The right products remove dirt, stains, and debris from white plastic garden furniture without staining or scratching the pieces. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Spray the white plastic garden furniture with water from a hose, or wipe the furniture piece with a wet cloth. Rinsing the furniture first makes cleaning the piece an easier process.

2. Fill a bucket with a 50:50 ratio of cool water and white vinegar. Add 1 tablespoon mild liquid dish soap into the bucket.

3. Soak a clean sponge with the liquid. Scrub the furniture with the sponge.

4. Dip a soft-bristled brush into the bucket. Scrub any areas of the furniture that have caked-on dirt or other debris.

5. Rinse the garden furniture once more using a hose or a wet cloth.

6. Dry the furniture with a clean, dry cloth. Make sure the piece is completely dry before you put it away.
