JCPenney is more than just a clothing store; its corporate office distributes donations to many well deserving organizations. An application is required in order to be considered for the donation. JCPenney has a certain time when it accepts applications, so check the website periodically to see when the application process begins. If your organization fits the JCPenney criteria, a donation is sure to follow.
Instructions
1. Print out an application from JCPenney's corporate giving website (see Resources), which shows the applications the company is accepting. A link will also tell you when the applications will be accepted.
2. Complete the application in its entirety. Include your name, address, phone number and any other contact information requested. You may be asked for the donation amount, and why you or your organization needs the funds.
3. Write a proposal, describing your organization and detailing why you needs the donation. Attach the proposal to your application. You also may have the option of filling out an online application and proposal, which may be easier for JCPenney to process.
4. Send the application and proposal to JCPenney's corporate office. The address is on JCPenney's corporate website or on the application.
