Find Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories Multiplayer Mode
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories takes the same game play from the original Vice City on the PlayStation 2 and places it on the PSP. While gamers can play through the story missions of the single-player game, two to four PSP consoles can be connected to participate in a multiplayer mode. Players can assume the role of multiple characters found in the game, with more unlocked depending on how far you've played through the story missions.
Instructions
Starting Multiplayer
1. Power on all PSPs that will participating in multiplayer. Each PSP must have a copy of the game inserted into the UMD drive.
2. Start up the game and wait until everyone has the game fully loaded and can control his on-screen player.
3. Pause the game by pressing the "Start" button. Scroll down the menu and select "Multiplayer." Accept the online user agreement. Once all users have performed these steps the PSP's will recognize all available consoles.
4. Start the multiplayer game. Once complete, either power off your PSP or load a saved game to exit this mode.
Unlocking Multiplayer Content
5. Complete the first chapter of the single-player game to unlock 12 additional character models to choose from in multiplayer mode.
6. Finish the second chapter to unlock 12 more models including Alberto and the "bag lady."
7. Complete the "Last Stand" mission, which is the final story mission to unlock 22 additional character models, including Diego, the game's primary antagonist.
8. Finish every side mission within the game to achieve a 100 percent completion ranking and unlock the rest of the multiplayer characters.
