Complete Thin Ice On Club Penguin

Club Penguin was purchased by Disney for $350 million.

Club Penguin is a free Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG), a game where players interact online in a virtual world, which was developed by Club Penguin and subsequently bought by Disney due to its impressive success. Among the many games available to a player is Thin Ice, a flash-based maze game which rewards successful navigators with in-game currency. A flaming avatar moves from ice cube to ice cube, trying to get to the end of the level as they melt beneath it; successful completion leads your avatar to a newer and more difficult level.

Instructions

1. Follow along the dark blue cubes, which your avatar can't melt, and walk on the like spaces, which can be melted. The avatar (called a Puffle) needs to reach the reddish square to move to the next level (there are nineteen in all).

2. Melt through wide-open spaces by going up and down the lines, like mowing a yard, so that each cube is melted and you stay on track after they are finished; plan ahead so that you don't trap yourself in a corner; start in a corner instead, and finish the section by moving in the direction of your next objective. Also use the "up-and-down" technique on two-square-wide enclaves by going into the enclave on one square and turning around on the second.

3. Guide your avatar over lightly-colored ice cubes twice to melt them completely, by either planning to use them twice in your path or by doubling back over them immediately. They don't appear until later levels, generally level eight.

4. Aim for special pick-ups first, such as keys, that will probably be useful later in the level. By avoiding them initially, you are likely to melt away all access to a useful item and have an unsuccessful level. If you want to melt every ice cube in every level for more points, pick-ups are especially important.
