Furniture Wax
Applying wax finish to wood is a great way to beautify the piece and to protect it against dryness. Wax produces a smooth, satin appearance, a natural look, and a smooth feel. It's great for all kinds of wood - oak, maple, pine, mahogany, and much more. Instructions
1. Remove old wax with wax and polish remover.
2. Prepare the finishing sander with extra-fine sandpaper. It is helpful if you use a sander with dust bag.
3. Sand wood until smooth and satiny.
4. Wipe wood with rags to remove all the wood dust.
5. Apply paste wax with rags or extra-fine steel wool using a circular motion.
6. Allow to dry for one half to one hour.
7. Buff with soft cotton rag.
8. For new furniture, repeat this entire process two or three times.
