Club Penguin
is an online game designed for children. Children can choose a penguin, chat, play games and send greeting cards. The site is moderated and parents are allowed to choose their child's level of interaction. To get a Club Penguin Account, follow these steps.
Instructions
1. Go to www.clubpenguin.com. Click on the "Play Now" link.
2. Click on "Create a free account now." Read over the Club Penguin rules.
3. Accept the "Club Penguin Rules" and "Terms and Conditions" by checking the boxes next to their captions. Choose from one of the many penguins under "Create Your Child's Penguin."
4. Type in a name under "Create a Name for Your Child's Penguin." You need at least four characters, but you may use letters, numbers or spaces.
5. Select and type in a password. Remember not to share your password with others.
6. Choose "Standard Safe Chat" or "Ultimate Safe Chat" by clicking one of them. "Standard Safe Chat" allows you or your child to type in words, but "Ultimate Safe Chat" allows you to use only prewritten words and phrases.
7. Provide your email address in order to activate you or your child's Penguin Account. Receive an Activation Code in your email. Click on the link provided in your email to activate your account. Begin play or watch the tutorial by clicking on the links provided.
