Kit out your penguin with stylish iPod-style headphones.
The kids' online game, "Club Penguin," holds a number of secrets and discoverable items. One of these items is the MP3000, a portable MP3 player for your in-game character. This item serves as a cool accessory for your penguin, letting other players and their penguin characters know that you're passionate about music. The MP3000 is free, but to get it, you have to pay real-world money for a "Club Penguin" toy.
Instructions
1. Visit the Club Penguin store at the site in Resources, or go to a store that sells "Club Penguin" plush toys, such as Toys 'R' Us.
2. Buy one of the "Club Penguin" toys that has the "Unlock Items Online" icon (a bronze coin on a blue background) on its tag or online listing. As of 2010, most toys are $9.99, though some can be found for as little as $5.99 or as much as $15.99.
3. Go to the "Club Penguin" website and log into your account. Choose the penguin you want to equip with the MP3 Player and click "Unlock Items Online," then "I have a code."
4. Enter the code from the tag of your "Club Penguin" plush toy and click "Done." You will be presented with a book full of items; depending on how much you spent on your toy, you will be allowed to choose one or two items.
5. Flip through the book until you find the MP3000 and click this to look at it. Click "Ok" to confirm your purchase. Your penguin will now have the MP3000 MP3 Player.
