is a massively multiplayer online game, targeted at young children. Players explore a wintry virtual world, play mini-games and interact with each other. Clothes are purchased from the game's clothing catalog, which contains hats, costumes and other items for penguins to wear. Registered players can access the catalog by waddling their penguin to the gift shop in the game. Besides the items visibly available for purchase, there are other, secret purchasable items hidden in the catalog. They can be obtained by clicking on secret links in the catalog, which then causes the hidden article of clothing to pop up on the screen, together with its price in in-game credits. However, finding these items can be difficult, and their location changes every month.

You can sometimes find the hidden clothing merely by clicking randomly through the catalog. But luckily for those who do not have such time on their hands, cheat walkthroughs are regularly compiled by various websites, telling you exactly where to click to find the items. Because the locations change monthly, a static webpage cannot accurately show players where the secrets are, so most such sites use a blog-type format. A search on either of those sites for "Club Penguin Clothing Catalog Cheats," together with the current month and year, will generally provide you with the information you need. Nearly every month new clothes are available, but often the same items will be hidden in the catalog from month to month---and every catalog contains two hidden Viking helmets: one red and one blue.
