Hot Glue Balls On A Wreath With A Glue Gun

Place a Christmas wreath on your door to add holiday spirit.


A Christmas wreath commemorates a religious holiday and presents a festive appearance to anyone approaching your door. To enhance a preformed ring of flowers, leaves, fruits or greenery that you have purchased, hot glue colored plastic balls to the wreath using a glue gun. No special skills are required.


Instructions


1. Insert a glue stick into the slot at the back end of the glue gun. Plug the glue gun's power cord into an outlet. Place the insulated pad on a table. Place the preformed Christmas wreath faceup on the table.


2. Wear the heat-insulated glove on your nondominant hand. Grip one of the balls to be glued to the wreath with this hand and hold the glue gun in your other hand.


3. Place the tip of the glue gun 1 inch away from a side of the ball, at the center. Press the trigger to dispense the hot glue and rotate the tip of the glue gun in a clockwise circle. Continue widening the circle until you've made a series of circles of hot glue over the ball, up to its edge.


4. Place the ball, glue side down. against the wreath near its bottom edge, at the center. Press the ball against the wreath and hold it there for a minimum of 2 minutes before letting go.


5. Repeat steps 2 through 4, placing the balls to the left and right of the one that was glued on first. Continue along the sides and top of the wreath until you have placed all the balls you want to glue to the wreath. Unplug the gun's power cord. Wipe the tip clean of glue with a water-moistened paper towel.
