Club Penguin offers
great member benefits, but even without membership, it's one of the best free, online networking sites for kids. Although members get special features made available only to them, non-members can still experience the overall enjoyment of Club Penguin, which is meeting and making new online friends.
Instructions
1. Start your Club Penguin adventure by choosing a cool name for your penguin. After you've created a penguin, start exploring Club Penguin, playing games and earning coins.
2. Earn enough coins so you can buy some different penguin colors. The colors are in the gift shop, located in town and cost 20 coins each. Colors are available to every player and help you customize your penguin based on personality or gender.
3. Waddle around Club Penguin and say, "Hello" to different penguins. Once you've made a friend, you can add them to your buddy list and check to see if they're playing each time you sign in. As you fill up your buddy list, you increase the chance that you'll have a friend to talk with when your online.
4. Send your friends greeting postcards, or postcards that invite them to a certain place or to play a certain game. This helps you hook-up with a friend who is playing Club Penguin so you can chat and play games together.
5. Go shopping for a puffle in the pet store. Non-members can buy either a red or blue puffle and keep them in their house, or walk around with them. Puffles are fun to care for because you can feed, walk, bathe and play with them.
6. Play Club Penguin games when you don't have any friends to chat with. Every place in Club Penguin offers a few games from mancala to fishing to cart surfing, and they're available to all players, regardless of membership.
7. Visit member igloos to see some really decked-out houses. Some penguins host parties at their igloo, so keep an eye out for open party invitations, as you waddle around Club Penguin.
