Casinos In Wells Nevada

Wells, Nevada, is in Elko County, approximately 156 miles east of Davis, Utah, and 340 miles north of Las Vegas. For tourists, the city features attractions like Wells City Park and the Angel Creek Park. The community also serves as home to three casinos, some of which also offer accommodations and dining for local visitors.


Fourway Bar Cafe and Casino


The Fourway Bar Cafe and Casino is at the intersection of Sixth Street and the Great Basin Highway in southeast Wells. The casino floor covers 4,500 square feet and features more than 150 slot machines. Slot options range from penny to dollar denominations, and Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy progressive slot machines are available.


Three black jack tables are featured at the casino. No other table games are available. The Fourway does not offer simulcast racetrack betting, and video poker machines are not available. The casino's Fourway Bar Cafe features snacks and a full bar. The facility operates 24 hours per day. The nearest accommodations to the Fourway is the Rest Inn Suites Motel, which is next door.


Lucky J Casino


The Lucky J Casino is on Route 93 east of downtown Wells. The casino is small and has only 50 slot machines on its gaming floor. The slots consist of nickel, dime, quarter and dollar machines. No progressive slots, simulcast racing or table games are featured. The Lucky J operates 24 hours per day.


The casino does not have a bar or restaurant on the property, and the nearest dining establishments are approximately 20 to 30 minutes away in downtown Wells or east of the casino in the town of West Wendover. The nearest accommodations are also in downtown Wells.


Wild West Inn


The Wild West Inn is on Sixth Street between Clover and Lake avenues. The casino areas consists of only 10 slot machines set off inside of the Inn. No table games or simulcast racing are available. The gaming area is accessible 24 hours per day.


The inn was built during the 1900s and features a casual bar called the Red Lady Saloon. The bar has a fireplace, draft beers, large-screen television and pool tables. An upscale restaurant, Mamma Miners Diner, is also located at the hotel.


The Inn offers overnight accommodations in its seven rooms with either one standard queen or two twin beds. The hotel area has free coffee in the lobby and a computer that guests can use.
