InFamous" was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2009. Players take control of Cole McGrath, a courier who has been imbued with electricity superpowers. However, Cole does not have to be good, as he can also become a villain, depending on his karma. By performing villainous feats, Cole will undergo a physical change. In addition, his lightning will also change color from blue to red. If he is receiving hero karma, Cole's lightning will change from blue to white.
Instructions
1. Gain karma to change your karma meter, located at the top left of the screen. The bar is divided into six sections -- three blue sections going up for good karma, three red sections going down for bad karma. At the beginning of the game, you start out in the middle as neutral. However, it only takes a few acts of karma to change your bar in one direction or the other.
2. Protect citizens from harm and bring them back to life to gain good Karma. Gain bad karma by causing property damage and killing citizens.
3. Apprehend villains after defeating them to gain good karma. Kill them once they are defeated to gain bad karma.
4. Select the good option in cutscenes, such as spreading medical help to survivors, to gain large amounts of good karma. Select the bad option, such as hoarding the medical help for yourself, to gain large amounts of bad karma.
