Clean Wood Cabinets Naturally

Wood cabinets can be cleaned using common household items.


Commercial household cleaners can tarnish the appearance of wood cabinets without thoroughly cleaning them. A natural, homemade cabinet cleaner removes particles and dirt from the cabinets without staining the wood. Add a homemade wood polish to the cabinets once you have finished cleaning them to preserve their appearance. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Add 1 cup of vinegar and 2 cups of cool water in a clean spray bottle. Shake it to mix the contents.


2. Spray the cleaning solution onto a clean nonabrasive cloth.


3. Wipe the cabinets with the dampened cloth. Rinse the cloth as it becomes dirty and apply more solution to it. Go over any areas that are still dirty.


4. Rinse the cloth and wipe over the cabinets to remove the vinegar and water solution. Allow the cabinets to air-dry.


5. Mix 3 tbsp. of extra light olive oil with 1 tbsp. of white vinegar in a bowl.


6. Dip a clean nonabrasive cloth into the solution and polish the cabinets.
